The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard for organisations that handle credit cards from the major card schemes such as VISA and Mastercard. The PCI DSS is a set of payment security standards designed to ensure that organisations accepting, processing, storing or transmitting credit card information maintain a secure environment. This new PCI certification takes those capabilities one step further.
